Hi, my name is Tavia Smith from Adrian Mo and I have just been diagnosed with stage 4 level T5 Thyroid and Throat Cancer.
So my story begins 15yrs ago when I thought what I was having were heart attacks and have been suffering from these attacks all these yrs. To many Drs telling me my condition was weird, to never finding anything wrong.
Until June of this yr when I had one of my attacks and Drs accidently finding a cancerous nodule on my thyroid and 5 cancerous lymph nodes in my neck of an irregular size.
As of Tues I will be under going a 10hr long surgery of removing the cancer, followed by 6 months of radiation treatments.
This surgery is so complex that I only have a 50/50 chance of making it thru this surgery. 2 of the cancer Lymph nodes have grown and attached them selves to my life line.
As of yesterday, that was my last day at work for the next 6 months. That means no more money coming in to help pay for expenses.
So I'm reaching out here to family, friends, co-workers, relatives, friends of friends, my community, churches and anyone that reads this.
