Stray, abused, and injured animals in Pakistan are suffering every day. Without shelter, medical care, or food, they endure unimaginable cruelty on the streets. At TAWF, we refuse to let them suffer alone.

About TAWF: A Lifeline for Stray Animals

Tahira Animal Welfare Foundation (TAWF) is a small registered non-profit in the UK & Pakistan dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and protecting animals in Faisalabad—Pakistan’s third-largest city. We are the only organization providing:

✅ 24/7 animal rescue services

✅ Medical treatment for the sick & injured

✅ Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) programs

✅ A no-kill shelter offering a second chance at life

Over 500 rescued animals rely on us at any time, but our current shelter is on rented land, and the lease ends in December 2025. If we don’t act now, they will lose their only safe haven.

The Urgent Need: A Permanent Animal Sanctuary

To continue saving lives, we have secured land to build Pakistan’s first large-scale animal sanctuary. This project will provide:

✔️ Safe shelter for thousands of homeless and rescued animals

✔️ Medical care & surgeries in a dedicated hospital block

✔️ TNVR facilities to humanely control stray animal populations

✔️ A sustainable rescue center using solar power & biogas

But we need urgent funding to make this happen! Every day we wait, more animals suffer.

Sanctuary Boundary Wall – £10,000 ️ (Essential security & protection for all rescued animals in the sanctuary)

Dog Sanctuary – £35,000 (Capacity: 2,000 dogs, including 150 quarantine & treatment kennels)

Cattery – £15,500 (Capacity: 1,500+ rescued cats)

Hospital Block – £30,000 (Medical emergency and treatment rooms, surgical rooms, diagnostic lab, pre & post-op rooms, X-ray room & medicine stock room)

Birds Aviary – £1,500 (Safe space for injured & rescued birds)

Wild Animal Enclosures – £2,500 (For rescued wildlife needing rehabilitation)

Equine Sanctuary – £10,000 (Capacity: 100+ rescued donkeys & horses)

Farm Animal Sanctuary – £5,000 (Safe haven for rescued farm animals)

Biogas & Rainwater Harvesting – £3,500 (Eco-friendly solutions to sustain the sanctuary)
