Taylor and Tyler Edwards - Cancer Recovery Fund

To our Paychex family - It is time to rally for one of our own!

On Monday November, 18, Taylor Edwards, our Learning Instructor, received news she never expected. Her husband, Tyler, had been diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. Although unexpected and heartbreaking, she finds comfort in the fact that this prognosis has been diagnosed relatively early and that Tyler is and always has been a fighter.

Tyler will begin surgery on January 20th and depending on how well the surgery goes, he will be quarantined to a private room, where he will begin Radiation treatments for up to 72 hours. This will be followed by three weeks of bed rest and up to five weeks of recovery time.

As you can imagine, even with insurance, the cost of this surgery, radiation treatment (as needed) and up to 5 weeks off of work will take its toll, financially. The surgery out of pocket is $7,900 and does not include the Radiation treatments or the compensation for the required time off of work.

If you would like to assist with the financial burden, any donation will be greatly appreciated. All funds raised will go directly towards Tyler's medical costs and recovery time.
