Taylor's Bench

Dear Friends and Family,

We are reaching out with a heartfelt request to honor the memory of our beloved Taylor Gale. Taylor was a cherished mother, friend, and member of our community, and she touched many lives with her kindness and warmth.

In celebration of her life and the countless memories made, my sister Raven and I purchased a dedication bench in her favorite spot at Brickwood Park in Maple Ridge—a place where she spent countless hours walking her dogs and enjoying the serenity of nature.

The bench features a dedication plaque that commemorates her life and the joy she brought to those around her. This bench is not just a tribute to her; it’s a place where we can all remember the joy and love she shared.

One of Jesse’s fondest memories is of Taylor standing on top of this very bench to wave at him as he drove his train by. This special moment captures her spirited and loving nature, and we wanted to honor that memory in the same place she cherished so much.

After inquiring about the bench, the City advised that there was another person wanting the same bench. To secure the bench, we we needed to pay an upfront cost of $3,000 to replace the bench with a new upgraded one, which will include Taylor's memorial plaque. Now, we would like to give everyone a chance to contribute to half of the cost—$1,500. By doing so, you can be a part of this meaningful tribute and honor Taylor’s memory in a special way.
