Taylor Hash-Reach the Skies

My name is Chris Yates, I feel the strong desire to help Taylor reach her goal to become a professional pilot and share her story to help other young pilots. I happened to be in the right place at the right time when Taylor had a problem with her airplane on her 3rd solo flight. We worked together with the help of the control tower to get her back on the ground safely without injury to herself or others. This story made national and global news headlines as a wonderful feel good human interest piece. I am the former Director of Aviation for SpaceX and have 41 years of aviation experience. I can tell you from experience, this girl is a natural and gifted pilot. She is 21yrs old and paying for her flight training from her own pocket. She is a kind and deserving soul and has a long road ahead of her. She has had some challenges in life and I hope the Aviation and general community can come together with me to help this more than deserving kid accomplish her goals and help touch other lives along the way. Taylor and I will be working with aviation and youth programs to educate future aviators with our story.
