Taylor Roys Battle with Stage 4 Cancer and House Fire
Donation protected
Hello, I'm Taylor.
The girl you see in the photo. The girl who only a few months ago had hopes, dreams, and plans for the future. The girl who believed that tomorrow could always be better than today.
But life had other plans.
In July, I lost everything I owned in an electrical house fire. My home, my memories, my sense of security.. gone in an instant. The kind of devastation you hear about, but never think will happen to you.
Just when I thought my life couldn't get any worse, October came and I was told those 3 words no one ever wants to hear "You have cancer"
Stage 4 cancer. It's in my blood, my bones, and my lungs.
All I wanted was to be the best version of myself and start a family of my own.
I worked so hard for that.. I healed, I grew, I quit drinking, I focused on becoming someone I could be proud of.
But now, at 32, I find myself in the fight of my life.
The severe pain, nausea, exhaustion, it never ends. I can barely get out of bed some days and I've been hospitalized. My body is a stranger, betraying me in ways I never thought possible. Simple tasks that I once did without a second thought, are now sometimes nearly impossible.
The hardest part is the feeling of losing myself. Losing the independence I worked so hard to build.
This isn’t how I saw my life turning out. I had so many plans, so many things I wanted to do, and now… now I’m just trying to make it through each day. And it’s getting harder.
I’m beyond broken; physically, mentally, financially. I’ve reached a point where I need to ask for help.
Because sometimes, no matter how strong we try to be, we can’t do it alone.
So here I am. Vulnerable. Hopeful. And asking, with everything in me, for support. If you can, please help me continue this fight
No donation is too small, and every little bit helps. Whether you're able to give $5, $50, or more, your generosity will make a world of difference.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
