Taylor’s Top Surgery
Donation protected
Hello!
I am using this page as a way to tell people about me and my story and also give an opportunity to donate. So here I go.
I’m Taylor, I’m 27 years old and I’m a genuinely very happy person. I have an amazing partner and a dream job that allows me to be active every day which I have a passion for.
I identify as non-binary and there are 2 gender confirmation FTN surgeries I am raising money for. The goal of these surgeries is to make me the androgynous and masculine person that i am inside and eliminate my gender/body dysphoria.
The main one is top surgery.
My chest has always been a burden, something that has held me back from being my true self.
I wear a chest binder every day to make my chest appear flat. Using binders every day over time can cause rashes, back or chest pain, shortness of breath, overheating (all of which I have experienced) and even fractured ribs and lung constriction.
I have a surgery date set for 7/23/20 which i am very excited about. My amazing surgeon Dr. Beidas has coordinated things for me to where I can get my hysterectomy at the same time as the top surgery.
I’m also very grateful for my amazing therapist Joanna for providing me with a reference letter for my surgeries and the amazing job I have and the insurance they provide me with which will cover 70% of my surgery cost after my deductible is paid.
I'm raising money to cover my deductible and bills for the time I'll be out of work.
I appreciate everyone for at least reading this, gaining a bit of a better understanding of me, and hopefully donating or at least sharing this post to help spread the word so I can meet my goal.
Thanks guys!
