Taylor's Mission Trip to the Philippines!

Blessings all! I am thrilled to announce that, this coming May, I plan to embark upon my first international mission trip to The Philippines with Ethnos360! In past years, I have participated in missionary opportunities within the country, such as urban homeless missions in New York City, which have been incredible eye-openers and builders of my faith. I have witnessed countless testimonies of God’s work in both my life and in others through these trips, in which I am exceedingly grateful.
This year, I am excited to expand my horizons by partnering with the Lord in a different country. If you know me, you know this is out of my comfort zone, but I have found that it is in these moments that the Lord does His greatest work! With the Philippines being among the most populated countries in the world, there will be abundant opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus. Both in the modern cities and the rainforest tribes, the people of the Philippines are hungry to know the Lord. As the Apostle Paul mentions, “How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?” (Romans 10:4).
During this three week trip, the team and I will be collaborating with the long-term missionaries on the field to serve both the missionary families and the local Filipino communities. Over the first week of the trip, the team and I will be running a kid’s Bible program at a missionary conference for the children who live on the mission field. Through skits, Bible teaching, and playtime with the kids, we will be able to bring joy, light, and love to children who may feel weary, overlooked, and forgotten in the constant life of ministry. As a friend to two post-missionary kids, this summer Bible program was the highlight of their year and truly lifted their spirits from the labor of the mission field. After this week, the trip will consist of going into different cities in the Philippines to share the love and light of Jesus to the people there, with the help of translators. Because of the large population, there will be many open doors for the Holy Spirit to move! Additionally, the team will be traveling into a rainforest tribe (by helicopter!) to gain hands-on ministry experience of with an indigenous people group. Through all of these opportunities, the Gospel will be shared, families will be encouraged, Filipinos will be ministered to, and my faith will be grown. I am beyond excited to be a vessel for the Holy Spirit to work through me to love on the people of the Philippines and see Him move in powerful ways!
I share all this to you, dear friend, in hopes that you might partner with me in prayer for my time there. The biggest prayer points for this trip is first, for the Lord to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we could imagine in the lives of the Filipino people. We are praying for soft hearts for them to hear and receive the Word of Jesus, and be transformed by His Spirit. Second, we would love prayer for protection and safe travels for the team. Since this is my first time flying out of the country, I would also love prayers for peace in unknown territory and long flights.
Lastly, I would love your prayers for the Lord’s provision for the cost of the trip. Over the next month, I need to raise $3,500. While this is a large sum, I know the Lord owns cattle on a thousand hills and this is not too much for Him. However, I do recognize that I cannot achieve this number on my own, so I humbly ask you to pray and consider partnering with me in financial support. I am excited to watch the Lord provide as He always does!
What a blessing to get to be the hands and feet of Jesus! Not just in the Philippines, but everywhere we go– the gym, grocery store, or sidewalk! I pray that we all would walk zealously for the Gospel and step out of our comfort zones to tell people about Jesus’ free gift of salvation for humanity!
Thank you so much! Grace and peace to you!
Blessings and love,
