Taylor's Medical Expenses

If you’ve spent much time around Taylor recently, then you know that his life has been turned upside down by debilitating back pain.
Over the past four years, he has tried every available treatment: shots, medications, physical therapy, diet, and even minimally invasive surgery. Nothing has worked.
His condition has progressed to the point that he now has constant nerve pain throughout his legs, hips, and back. He can no longer drive for longer than 20 minutes, and making it through the workday as a teacher is almost impossible.
We began this GoFundMe to raise money for a spinal fusion surgery for Taylor. According to several specialists, this was his final treatment option and would likely improve his situation.
However, his plans for treatment have radically changed after receiving a second opinion from the Mayo Clinic that contradicted his neurosurgeon's diagnosis. He will now undergo new tests to determine the source of his nerve pain and to help put together an appropriate treatment plan.
Instead of helping pay for a spinal fusion surgery in the near future, the money raised here will go toward this new treatment plan, which will include several diagnostic tests and perhaps even a different type of surgery.
