Tayson Halvorsen Memorial Expenses

Hello, my name is Mary Halvorsen. I am starting this GoFundMe to help my brother in law Eric Halvorsen and his family cope with the recent tragic loss of their son, Tayson Halvorsen.

Anyone who knew Tayson loved him. Tayson would light up a room with those beautiful blue eyes and “larger than life” smile and was quick to crack a joke with anyone in the room. Tayson was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed steelhead fishing, hunting and hiking. He recently developed a strong passion for rock climbing at the local Rock Gym.

One of Tayson’s most extraordinary gifts was probably the relationships he held with the people he loved most! Tayson brought love to those that he knew and made them feel loved. Tayson especially loved his new niece, Ember.

“No one can ever understand the suffering going on in their mind. But the pain in your heart is a testament to their meaning in this world.”

I am also hoping to bring light to the suicide epidemic - such a permanent decision often made because of a temporary problem, has a lifelong devastating ripple effect on the loved ones left behind. For anyone who needs to hear this please know you are not alone, you are loved, and don't be afraid to ask for help. There is always hope and brighter days ahead.
