Tazzy's New Heart ❤️
Donation protected
On April 24, 1995, Natazia "Tazzy" Kahunahana was born. At five and a half months pregnant, the doctors informed her mother Natalie that her baby would be born with a serious heart defect and that she should just terminate the pregnancy but that was not an option or thought. After she was born, doctors told us she would maybe live for an hour... Today, she is 22 years old and has had 3 open heart surgeries, one at just four days old, 8 months old and at 15. The surgeries performed have saved and vastly improved her quality of life but they have also racked up the bills quickly.
Known as complex congenital heart consisting of complex single ventricle, Tazzy's condition means that her heart only has one pumping chamber instead of the normal two and she now has 15 stents. It is a rare and often deadly condition without surgery. In a few weeks, Tazzy will be traveling to San Diego and by the grace of God, there will be a compatible heart for her so that she can get a heart transplant.
We the family humbly ask you for your prayers and financial blessings so that we can be able to help defray costs to fly Tazzy and other family members as they relocate to San Diego and to pay for her expensive medical care.
Any and all donations are accepted and greatly appreciated.
