My First Furry Convention
My name is John Sposato and between planning for Halloween and finding a place to belong, the furry movement seems to be the answer to both. I've only heard of this in the past few years from the shows I watch, and would work for one like me. As you can tell, it costs a right fortune to get a costume or fursuit, whether premade or custom, partial or full body, on top of the price of travelling around the US and Canada. I would spend Halloween this year in Fairfield County in the tri-state for the first event, then head to the city for David Gilmour after. In the spring, I could go to Toronto for the first time since 1993, and go to Allegheny County next summer. I did find a cat fursuit online like the one shown, which is a bargain by furry standards. I also need accessories because it can get hot in there.
I can meet new people at the do, even if we are dressed as other species. It's more than a fancy dress. It's a global phenomenon that gets misunderstood and even slated. Please help me be a part of it.
