TBI Survivor had New E-bike stolen 1 hour later.

Donation protected
My son bought a brand new E-bike and had his bike stolen less than an hour after the purchase. He locked it to a Stop sign outside a grocery store, came back to find the sign completely cut through and his bike gone. A Survivor of a Traumatic Brain Injury 12 years ago, he relies on his bike to get him where he needs to go around the Portland area. Our homeowners policy does not cover E-bikes and his credit card does not have the theft protection benefit on new purchases. A Police report was filed and the bike serial # listed on the theft registry website.
We are hoping to raise enough money to allow him to purchase another E-bike, although a not-as-expensive one and cover the cost of insurance against another theft.
He’s currently looking for work through Voc Rehab after leaving a 4 yr position at New Seasons Grocery. A Bike is needed for transportation and his mental health, he rides for stress reduction and pleasure.
