WHO
This is a parent-driven fund that has been set up to provide some support to staff and parents of The Brunswick School.

WHAT AND WHY?
COVID-19 has negatively impacted our school and neighborhoods. Some members of our school community have lost income and are struggling to cover basic expenses. Employees of The Brunswick School (e.g., teachers, cleaning crew, support staff, etc.) as well as parents of currently enrolled students are eligible to apply for a small grant. The applications and distributions are being managed entirely by volunteer parents and members of the school community.

TBS has kindly offered to help raise awareness of this Go Fund Me Page using the tadpoles email service but no proceeds from this fund are going to the school itself. 

We encourage ALL PARENTS to circulate a link to this page to other parents in the class to raise awareness of our efforts. Please share generously!


APPLICATIONS

To qualify, each applicant must be either;
1) A member of the staff, teachers, support team and crew at The Brunswick School on 3/16/2020. 
OR
2) A parent of a child enrolled at TBS on 3/16/2020.

GRANTS

Grants Available based on size of household. (Size of Household - defined as number of members of immediate family that live at the same address as the applicant on a full-time basis.)
Household of one - $75
Household of 2-3 - $150
Household of 4-6 - $250
Household of 7+ - $350

These funds were donated by fellow parents and individuals who care about The Brunswick School.


TERMS
Applications are welcome on a first come first served basis, with immediate effect.
We will accept one application per household in a 3 month period. 
The grants are being made on a rolling basis and will continue to be made until all funds have been allocated.
In the event that remaining funds can not cover the minimum grant, whatever remains in the fund will be made as a final grant to the most recently received application.

UPDATE: WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING FIRST TIME APPLICANTS. THESE WILL BE PAID FIRST AND SHALL BE PRIORITIZED OVER ANY OTHER PAYMENT. 

ALL APPLICANTS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A 2ND GRANT. WE WILL BE PAYING THESE AUTOMATICALLY DURING THE WEEK OF 5/18. YOU DO NOT NEED TO APPLY A SECOND TIME.

ONCE ALL FUNDS HAVE BEEN PAID OUT, WE WILL CLOSE THE GFM FUND AND WILL WITHDRAW THIS PAGE.
