Support TBWC with Building a Church to Build the Community

The Believers Worship Center, Inc. (TBWC) is a 501c3 non-profit corporation based in the state of Maryland. The mission of TBWC is to serve the local community and we seek charitable donations to help us in our efforts. We are a church that serves through teachings of the Gospel of Christ and various outreach programs to the community. We need the help of caring people like you to help us to continue to meet the needs of the community.

Each day we aspire to provide support and assistance to individuals to help them overcome obstacles and challenges that hinder their lives. The key areas we provide support and assistance for are homelessness, sick and shut-in, crime, mental health, senior isolation, poverty, parenting and juvenile delinquency. We are seeking donations to complete the construction of our building. Our goal is to raise $750,000 for this task. Your donation of $100, $50, $25, or any amount you can give would be appreciated.

Here is a list of the programs TBWC has for the community:

1. Community Beautification Program - created to keep our communities presentable by ensuring that our neighborhoods are free of bulk trash, waste, and abandoned cars.

2. Special Guardian Program – established to collaborate with parent(s) to send counselors to schools to address minors experiencing challenges.

3. Re-Entry Program – established to help formerly incarcerated individuals (returning citizens) gain the tools needed to integrate back into the community.

4. Sick and Shut-in Program– established to send Elders and Ministers to visit individuals who may be convalescing at home, in the hospital or in a nursing home.

5. Community Outreach Program

a. Christmas for You – a yearly event to help low-income families with Christmas toys and gifts.

b. Civic Association meetings – to provide community residents an opportunity to discuss issues that may impact their neighborhoods.

c. Quarterly meetings with political officials to discuss community outreach.

i. Develop relationships with the State Senator, Congressman, and County Delegates representing the community.

d. Community Corporations

i. Provide food and clothing to those in need.

e. Collaborate with mobile police officers for community safety.

f. Community Fellowship – a yearly event to bring the community together with activities for the entire family.
