Sandra Underwood's Accident Recovery

My name is Kristie Brown and my mother, Sandra Underwood, was in a car accident on November 1st, 2022 on Highway 34 in Kaufman. Our family is truly blessed to still have her with us! She is currently in the hospital, just moved out of ICU, and will be there for a little while. She has a couple of surgeries ahead of her and will then go to a rehab facility for a couple of weeks. My parents are both retired and they work temp jobs as they can to bring in more income. With my mom trying to recover from her accident and my dad being there with her most of the time, they are not going to be able to make the extra income for a little while. They are going to be dealing with lots of medical bills on top of their regular bills as well as gas for my dad getting back and forth to the hospital. I am starting this fund to try to help take a little bit of the financial burden off their plate.
