Help Queers Getting Kicked Out of Their House

We are a house of queer & trans people seeking support in expenses related to our landlord kicking us out of our house. We’re also seeking support for one housemate Mal, a 19 year old Black trans person who needs money for living expenses after her disability was cut off.
Our landlord has been harassing us and retaliating against us for asking a question about our heating bill. She refused to approve a new roommate (making it hard for us to pay rent), falsified our lease, threatened us about things we didn’t do, and put us through a ton of stress. She has now given us a 30 day notice to vacate and now we’re in a dire situation where we all have to move out in a month.
Our landlord has also been really aggressive with Mal, making transphobic and anti-Black comments to her. It’s been a hard transition to Philly for Mal and she needs money to get by so she can have a stable foundation, especially when her disability was just cut off and we have no idea how long it’s going to be to get it turned back on.
We’re asking for:
- $450 for moving repairs and fees
- $1600 moving support for a few housemates
- $1300 to pay back rent owed to 2 housemates who weren't allowed to move in
- $7000 for living expenses and first/last/security help for Mal
