This is Sarah Nash. Sarah is a beautiful lady that I met through the blogging community 10 years ago.
Until recently, Sarah was just your average 34 year old mum of 3 young children.
In February 2019 she was the busy and fiercely proud mother to a 3 year old, 1 year old and 4 month old.
Then she was given the devastating and shocking news that she had been diagnosed with grade 3 invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer.
Throughout the entirety of 2019 she has endured 4 different types of debilitating chemotherapies, radiotherapy and surgery all whilst trying to single handily raise her three very young children.
She has suffered and struggled through bravely and thought and hoped that she had finally come out the other side only to recently receive the indescribably devastating news that following a period of pain within her bones, that the cancer has now spread to her ribs, classing her as stage 4.
Sarah is soon to undergo an experimental clinical trial, however this will be to try and prologue her life as opposed to curing her of the cancer as at this time, this simple isn’t possible.
I cannot even begin to comprehend the devastation this news must have made to Sarah and her beautiful family.
The future is extremely uncertain right now but what we do know is that Sarah is unlikely to be granted the privilege or some may say the right, of seeing her children grow up.
As a mother to two young children myself I am completely heartbroken by this news and I have vowed to do everything in my power to make life a little easier for Sarah and her family.
Sarah has been unable to work on account of how unwell she is and therefore childcare is out of the option, however without it she cannot get the rest she so desperately needs.
When she has good days and well periods, she simply does not have the funds to spoil or treat her children and I want more than anything for all of us to support her to enable her to spend quality time with her children and make amazing memories while she is well enough to do so.
I know that times are hard, but please, if you are able to spare anything, please help me support my friend to allow her to focus on her children and health as opposed to financial insecurities and worries.
Please let’s come together to give her the opportunity to be able to afford to spend wonderful days out with her children as a family and let her spoil them the way she would if she was not in such a terrible situation.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart
