Hi friends,

We would like to rally around our dear friend Kay and her husband David. David will be in the hospital for an undetermined length of time and we would like to help with their expenses, as they are both out of work. We are asking for your contributions - whatever you can give - to help ease their financial burden and to show our community's love and support.

From Kay:

"We both have been taught the value of hard work by our parents, so 'taking' from others instead of giving seems foreign to us, when so many other people need help, too. We are torn. I'm tearful as I type this because I know God is telling me that it's okay to accept help... the 'do unto others' part of the gospel applies to me too. I will choose to trust what God has laid on your heart...whatever it is. I am so grateful for you all."
