TCI TRANSITIONAL FACILITY CAPITAL CAMPAIGN PROJECT
Totality Centers, Inc., is in dire need of a transitional housing facility and we need your help. Several contacts have been made to companies and we have not been successful as of today, and we are now tasked with having to raise the funds ourselves.
We would like to purchase a facility that allows the capability for shelter of all guests, day to day food preparation, efficiency, and storage capabilities to better serve the homeless, hungry, the poor, and the needy men, women, children, at-risk veterans and their families in our community. Currently, we are serving as a virtual resource center for housing most guests to other facilities until we can build the facility needed to house guests. In addition, all supplies for our programs are being donated by many of our sponsors that contribute to our organization annually.
Besides needing a transitional housing facility, we are always in need of donations that include food, back-to-school supplies, and holiday love gift items for children in the community. This includes any clothes or shoes that may be needed as children grow daily throughout the year. To remedy the needs of our requests, we have applied for several grants to purchase the transitional housing facility. However, there has been no luck this far. As a result, Totality Centers, Inc. has been raising money in any way possible to support the goal by having monthly fundraisers and/ or donations received, requesting sponsorships/ partnerships, and more.
To help with the back-to-school and holiday love programs, Sponsors like Walmart, Toys for Tots, Clayton County Public Schools, Clayton County Libraries, Local Churches, and Conway now known as XPO Logistics, and The Home Depot donated to Totality Centers, Inc.’s. The good news is that over the years Totality Centers, Inc., was selected to receive free trucks to haul all the items donated to deliver to all the recipients of our programs. Some of these sponsors that have previously supported our project by supporting us to better serve the community include but not limited to:
Ms. Tineke Smith, Walmart Super Center
Ms. Kelly Williams, Toys for Tots
Ms. Lisa Bowens, Clayton County Library
Mr. Sharmarl King, The Home Depot
It has been estimated that the construction costs will be approximately $15,000,000. As of September 2021, we have started a GoFundMe to raised what we need and could use your help to reach our goal. The facility will shelter 100 veterans, men or women individually or 50 families.
If you have questions or need additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us at [email redacted]. We look forward to your positive response. Click here for “GOFUNDME CAPITAL CAMPAIGN” button to help make this vision become a reality. THANK YOU!
