Bring The Sunrise Back: remembering Joe Hines
Donation protected
A year ago today, our son Joseph Hines passed away far too soon at the age of 32; just 6 weeks before he was to be married to the love of his life. His fiancé, Melissa, had also found in Joe the one true love she had spent her life searching for. As could be expected, Melissa is heartbroken by the loss.
Joe was a musician, a singer, and a songwriter. He was an artist, and through his writings, a chronicler of life around him. Melissa is dedicated to sharing their love, his music, his drawings, and his writings in a motion picture.
As a production of this type can be quite expensive - equipment, production costs, pay for associated filmmaking personnel, etc. - we are assisting in raising the funds necessary to produce a beautiful and meaningful film that people will be eager to watch and share with others. The attached short video is a preliminary sample of what Melissa has begun to put together to share his life and their incredible story, for all who value music, art, and true love.
We have created this Go Fund Me page in order to raise the financial resources necessary to realize the final high-quality production that Joe’s art deserves. Joe had a profound way of looking at the world, and that is evident in his music, his drawings, and his written word. We believe that sharing these with others is a great way for Joe to continue to live on and for other people to share in his wisdom, his humor, and the irony he saw in his life and the lives of others around him.
We believe anyone who watches this production can benefit from and enjoy it. It was impossible to know Joe and experience Joe without having him change your life in a fundamental way. Equally irresistible and infectious was the love between Joe and Melissa. It is all of this that we are eager to share.
Please help with whatever you can so Joe’s sounds, images, and words can continue to be heard and shared, even though his physical presence can no longer be seen. Joe's voice should never go silent. We are asking for you to help realize this vision with whatever you may give. Thank you.
