TCU ΣΝ for Honor Flight Network DFW
Tax deductible
http://www.honorflightdfw.org/ Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization that flies World War II veterans and terminally-ill veterans of other wars to Washington, D.C. to see the memorials that were built to honor them. These veterans stepped up and answered the call to protect our nation when it needed them the most. According to the Department of Veterans Affairs, an estimated 640 WWII veterans die each day. Our time to express our thanks to these brave men and women is running out.
All donations will go directly to the DFW branch of the Honor Flight Network. Our goal is $40,000 as that is the cost to completely fund one Honor Flight for 50 veterans.
Sigma Nu Fraternity has its roots in a military system, as we were founded at Virginia Military Institute in 1869. Combining this with our chapter's patriotism and respect for those who serve and have served our nation, we decided to make Honor Flight DFW the beneficiary of our philanthropic efforts.
