My sweet daughter

My name is Lisa. I am the mother, and grandmother, who is asking for help. My daughter, Anna, and her family, are going through some desperately hard times right now. It breaks my heart to watch them struggle financially, and not be in the position to help them myself. Like a lot of us, they live paycheck to paycheck. Within this year, this family has had unexpected expenses including burst sewer pipes that caused their house to flood with sewage. Both the outside pipes, and the house required extensive repairs. And now, Anna has broken her ankle, and is unable to work for the next 6 weeks. She is a new nurse, with limited benefits. Her husband, Evan, already emptied his retirement to help pay for damages caused by the broken sewer pipes. And to make matters worse, they are emotionally dealing with the sudden unexpected loss of Evan’s father. It feels as if an atomic bomb has exploded within this family. And of course, it’s Christmas. And they have 3 young children. My grandchildren.

My hope is that enough money will be raised to give them some relief for the next few months. Even money just to cover groceries would be much appreciated.

Also would be grateful for prayers that 2024 will bring them blessings, and provide relief from their struggles.
