Emergency kitten vet bill
Donation protected
Hi unfortunately I’m raising money to help towards my cats emergency vet bill.
Sadly she didn’t survive the injuries of a dog attack and passed away during her X- Ray due to her lung being punctured and internal injuries.
Luna was a timid rescued kitten, started her life a stray born into a garden bush , we took her in and bottle fed her from a few months olds, she became a part of our family. She bonded amazingly with my five year old and they became “best buddies” and his cat. She was a healthy beautiful kitten.
Recently at the age of 11 months , she decided to start exploring the outside world- the garden, becoming much more confident in herself with playful curiosity taking over with nature around her.
On the 15/5 ,she got startled by another cat ,Ran and jumped up onto the garden fence. Which lead to her falling into my neighbours garden who owns dogs, she didn’t have enough time to escape and by the time the owners got her free from their dogs jaws, the internal injuries had already been caused.
I stupidly hadn’t gotten around to sorting Vet insurance and now have a Vet bill to pay in 30 days of £720, which were for the pain relief, oxygen, X-ray and services provided by vet.
She is going to be missed very much, I’ve not cried this much since I lost my father, the home already feels so quiet without the bell of her collar and still without her movements . We are truly heart broken to of lost her and for her to of experienced the pain and fear she did in the moments of being attacked is eating me up inside.
The vet bill is a massive financial hit as I only work pat time and the clinic does not offer a payment plan. I know the bill with Vet is from me being irresponsible by not taking out insurance. The shock of it all and wanting her to be helped straight away, due to the pain and shock she was in I rushed her to the most local vet.
The Hendon PDSA was too far to even consider due to her condition.
If you are able to help, any amount would be greatly appreciated to help bring the cost of bill down. Thank you.
