Hey friends,
I am reaching out on behalf of our dear friend Charity Cimmaron, who fills so many shoes in our community.
Those of you who have known Charity for a while may have noticed a decline in their health over the past several years, more noticeably the past two. Charity has been living with a congenital disease, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, that is extremely painful, some days making it difficult to walk even with a cane. Being a rare health condition, Charity has not been able to do more than treat the symptoms, more recently showing up as debilitating migraines which can last for weeks. Let’s pull together and give Charity a shot at well-being. Let’s raise the funds to enable them to take a much-needed leave of absence to search for answers. There are clinics around the US that specialize in Charity's illness that could help relieve and even get to the source of their pain.
As their dear friend, I struggle to find words that rightly express the goodness of Charity’s nature. The love, kindness and belonging they bestow upon those they care for is beyond measure.
Charity would not ask anything of anyone. I am doing so now because they deserve our support. I am asking that we all give something, no matter how big or small, to give Charity a chance to improve their life experience. I know, financially, it’s been a hard time for most, and to ask for yet another donation may feel like a lot to ask, and maybe it is. But together, WE CAN make change happen. Think of it like this: it costs around $7 for a tea from Dobra, $35 for a lunch from Elements, and $69 for a one-month membership at Asheville Yoga Center. All of those amounts are something, they all help. Even small amounts, added up, can be life-changing.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm grateful for this community and our solidarity in making the world a better place.
Much Love,
