Hi, my name is Christian and I'm posting this gofundme in support of a dear friend who's family has recently been exposed to some very saddening news. Being a father myself, I can only imagine the pain and uncertainty surrounding the family of Ms. Indie Fitzgerald right now. In this crazy year of 2020 we are not to forget how precious our families and loved ones are at this moment.
Indie, is a charming, smart and loving 3 year old little girl who lives with her parents Cody, Ashley and and older brother River Fitzgerald. Recently, after being admitted into OHSU in Portland, Oregon, she was diagnosed with Leukemia. After learning about this saddening information, her parents were forced to travel 2 hours back and forth from Eugene to Portland in order to spend time with their little girl. Treatments last for most of the day and are done 2-3 times per week. This has resulted in very expensive medical bills that would be overwhelming for anyone who has 2 little kids. This will be a long and enduring 3 years process of cancer treatment that will result in more financial and emotional hardships. However, Indie is a tough girl with a fighting spirit like the rest of her family and will continue to beat this horrible illness.
Myself, along with the support of friends, coworkers and loved ones will continue to help in anyway possible to make sure that Indie and her family receive our unconditional support. Yet, we are asking ANYBODY to offer a simple donation to help with the expenses that will continue throughout this treatment. Funds will go towards medical bills and travel expenses. We are looking to raise AT LEAST $50,000 for the Fitzgeralds to help support their baby girl, Indie.
