Teach Children in Nigeria to Pray!!

   My name is Onome Umukoro. I live in the Houston / Richmond area of Texas. I was born and raised in Nigeria. A friend of mine back home in Nigeria, Arit Aduke Abolade who runs a Christian Missions Organization; Stella Teaching and Relief Foundation, in May 2017 launched a free Christian prayer book distribution project "Let the Children Pray". This project is aimed at reviving the prayer culture amongst children in this generation who are gradually losing their commitment to the Lord as worldly enticements pulls harder. In a society where most parents have become too occupied to teach and encourage their children to deepen their relationship with God through prayers it has become expedient that the body of Christ arise to save this generation and restore light by encouraging them to seek God more. The prayer book project would help children between ages 5-12 to pray right and effectively and also to keep a prayer journal.  This is bound to foster the spread of the gospel of Christ as these young ones are brought into a more intimate relationship with Christ through prayer. To achieve this, the organization is set to print and distribute the prayer book "Let the Children Pray" with a prayer journal attached for free to about 10,000 children in this region. So far, 2,000 copies of the book have been printed and distributed. It gives me great delight to support this project and encourage it by assisting them in the fundraiser to raise sufficient funds for the printing and distribution of this book. Having grown up in Nigeria and still have family there, nothing would give me greater joy to support a project that would not only enhance the message of God in Nigeria and the nations around it, but that would cause a great transformation in the lives of children and youth and in the society at large. This is bound to stir a great revival in this generation as our children arise and pray. I am so grateful to each one who joins me to support this noble and divine course.
