Teacher Needs Eye Care After Stroke
Donation protected
I have been a teacher all of my life. Recently I have not been able to teach anymore. I had a stroke behind my right eye in July of 2023 and again in September, 2024 which has affected my eyesight.
I am slowly going blind.
I have swarms of heavy floaters like black patches in front of my eyes blocking the light.
It's from the retinal hemorrhage that I had earlier in the year.
The stroke took out most of the vision in my right eye. I have about 20% sight in my right eye.
I need atropine drops for my eyes to widen the pupils to let more light in, and a procedure to remove the blood that's pooling behind my right eye causing shadows in my vision.
