Teaching CPR in Bangladesh
Donation protected
The Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College & Hospital in central Bangladesh is looking for help in teaching their staff CPR, also known as basic life support (BLS). I've volunteered to help and I'm working in collaboration with several basic life support (BLS) instructors from various hospitals around North America to bring high-quality CPR training to this community. Our goal is to travel in January 2020 to ensure the healthcare team is properly trained in CPR with hopes of pushing training out from the hospital to the community at large, beginning with public safety personnel, such as local police.
As this is a completely self-funded endeavor, funds raised here will primarily be used to offset the cost of travel to and from Bangladesh and offset incidental costs associated with logistics, with any remaining funds used to buy supplies related to CPR training (manikins, facemasks, etc.) to support the program's mission.
Any help to support my mission of teaching high-quality CPR to this community is greatly appreciated.
