Team Banana's Bid for Blair!

If you don't know who Team Banana is, you are giving money to the wrong person!

This year is the last year I will be taking horse trials and eventing 'seriously', mainly because I hadn't really ever planned on keeping lanna moving up the grades and eventing for her whole life. We have other things we want to do and be successful at.

Ever since I got Bob, and the seed was sown in my brain that it *might* be possible, I have wanted to at least get to the start box of the international cross country track at Blair Atholl Horse Trials. The most iconic horse show in Scotland for eventers.

Blair must have heard the news that I was taking one shot at this, and this is the last year it will be running. The show os already massive, but there are a lot of people who will be equally determined to have a chance to be there this year as its their ladt chance. Its going to be humongous!

I've never really asked before, and I have no expectations, but I am asking for help with funding. Without assisstance, I will do it anyway - it's my choice, therefore my financial burden, and i really hate asking for this kind of help

I'm hoping that you would contribute for the joy of helping me achieve a surprise adulthood dream - no other reason.

It being horses, plans can be derailed at any moment, so if we don't make it, I will organise some kind of pro rata refund.

I've done some calculations based on the cost of entry fees, stabling if required, and cost of diesel for the events i plan to target this year (happy to guve a breakdown if you like that sort of thing!). This is what I have set as my fund raising target based on 8 british eventing competitions, two of them at FEI one star level, and included our registration fee for the fei, and the diesel needed to get to and from events. Some events will involve overnight stabling at extra cost. I have also included some showjumping training shows. I have not included any clinic, lesson. Or venue hires which I use almost weekly for training, or my coching sessions. If I am fortunate to meet my target, that is where I would direct additional funds.

In return, you will get the same endlessly boring Lanna updates via Facebook/instagram as you do now (woohoo).

The other thing that Id like to say, because money really isnt everything, is that I really value seeing people I know supporting us at our competitions. As someone who operates on their own a lot of the time, that is massively appreciated. It's a special thing is to have people there, cheering you on, so please let me know if you want to see Team Banana in action. I will do my level best not to disappoint!

I have enlisted an amazing sports psyologist who helped me through the winter, and helped me to skin my drive, and excellent coaches to help me on my way and keep me focused for the season. They are very experienced and very honest people. They wouldnt let me do anything that we arent capable of, but they are very clear. To do this, I will have to be on my A game, and make sacrifices.
