TEAM BOWEN-HEART WARRIOR

Hi, my name is Addie, this is my grandson Bowen, Bowen was born at 37 weeks on March 2, 2023 with Congenital Heart Defect, HLHS, a condition in which the values on the left side of his heart did not fully developed. He has already had 4 heart procedures, 2 of those were Open Heart surgeries and he still needs 2 more open heart surgeries that we are aware of. He also has had a G tube placed that helps him eat and get medications he has also had his diaphragm surgery. Bowen has been at OU Childern's since he was born. He is working hard on getting off the ventilator and getting bigger and stronger in preparation for his next surgery.
