Team Braydon
Donation protected
Braydon is a senior at Central High School who plans to graduate this May and has a lifetime of opportunities and ambitions before him. Sadly, Braydon was recently diagnosed with an aggressive osteosarcoma inside and around his fibula. Pathology results indicated this is an Ewing's sarcoma, which is a rarer and more difficult form of cancer to treat. Due to the intense and uncommon nature of this type of cancer, Braydon will have to take 5 chemotherapy drugs instead of 3, and will also undergo surgeries to hopefully get him into remission. Doctors have said Braydon faces a rough road to recovery, and this next year will be very challenging as he receives treatments at Riley Children's Hospital. During this time, Braydon and his family will have to make many trips from Evansville to Indianapolis, a three hour car ride one-way. With all that Braydon and his mother, Chelsey, are dealing with currently and will be dealing with as Braydon endures a rough road ahead, one thing the family should not have to feel any anxiety about is the financial burden this medical crisis will bring. Money raised via this fundraiser will go directly to costs associated with Braydon's treatment and provide assistance for him and his family. More than anything, prayers for Braydon's remission are welcomed and needed, along with prayers for his family as they experience something no family should ever undergo: watching your child suffer at the hands of cancer. As everyone's financial situation is different, any amount donated towards this cause is greatly appreciated. Please join Team Braydon and help him beat cancer.
