Team Canada Junior Roller Derby 2025

Bonjour! Hello, Canada!

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our GoFundMe page. My name is Caroline Reimer, known to my athletes as Coach Meow, and I have the honour of being the head coach of Team Canada Junior Roller Derby for 2025.

We are beyond excited to announce that 20 exceptional athletes from across our country have been selected to represent Canada at the Junior Roller Derby World Cup in Brisbane, Australia, from July 25th to 28th, 2025.

As we prepare for this prestigious event, we are faced with significant travel expenses to bring our athletes from provinces like British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, and New Brunswick all the way to Australia. We are reaching out to Canadians from coast to coast to coast to help us reduce these costs and make this incredible opportunity accessible for our dedicated athletes.

Where will your support go?

All funds raised will be distributed equally among the 20 athletes and our support staff to help cover flights and travel expenses to Brisbane. Additionally, your contributions will also assist with domestic travel costs for our essential team practices, including trips to Springbrook, Alberta, in February, and the Niagara Region in May.

About roller derby:

Roller derby is an intense, full-contact sport played on a flat track where teams work together to earn and protect points by blocking opposing skaters. Our athletes have shown remarkable dedication, resilience, and skill. With your support, they can proudly represent Canada on the world stage and aim to bring home some well deserved hardware!
