T.E.A.M. for Dee
Donation protected

T.E.A.M. for Dee was born out of mixed emotions (and inspired by TEAM Dale, see accompanying pic). On one hand, it’s a sad story because a wonderful man (Dale) was taken too soon from this world and his family by cancer. Yet, on the other hand it is bittersweet because he lived a life without regrets and filled with love, compassion and service to others. His son, Christopher, recently posted on Facebook about his father stating, “I realized something the other day. Never once did I hear my Dad say, "why?" He never worried about or wondered why he had cancer inside of him, he just wanted to fight it and continue to help others even in sickness.”
Now, after Dale’s cancer fight depleted his and his wife’s (Dee’s) financial resources, she’s faced with the financial toxicity left over from Dale’s fight. Dee wants to move closer to her kids and grandkids but finds herself needing to replace their home’s septic system before it can be sold. The cost for this has been estimated to be at least $6,500 and this will be very difficult to pay seeing how her limited resources have become even more limited. Sooooo, that’s where we come in! We’re going to “stand in the gap” for Dee and try to help her get enough funds to replace the septic system (and maybe a few more for moving expenses?).
So what do you say? Can you spare a few bucks to help Dee? There’s no such thing as too little or too much to give. Only what’s on your heart. But let’s look at it from a pure numbers perspective... If we all donate $10 and then share it with others who are likely to do the same, it’ll only take 650-1,000 people to meet and exceed what Dee needs. Let’s harness the power of social media and use it for good (instead of giving us another headache!).
I thank you in advance for taking the time to read this and hopefully clicking the donation link. Either way, can I ask one more favor? Would you please help this message reach more people by sharing it on your social media pages? Thank you and may God bless and keep you!
