Team GB Uni Worlds

Hi, my name is Sammie and I have recently been selected to represent team GB in the upcoming uni worlds in Istanbul.

Since Commonwealth October 2025 I had my sights set on breaking the Scottish

Deadlift and Total record which I have done multiple times. I made a goal to come place as high as possible in upcoming comps to give me the best chance at being selected for an international at a higher level.

SUCS 2025 1st place and best lifter overall

British Juniors 3rd place, deadlift record

195kg @61kg bodyweight

British Uni champs 1st place (which led to my selection for this upcoming comps)

with IPF approved hotels, flights, lifting insurance, dopping fees it’s looking to be another expensive comp.

this will likely be my last international for a while as I enter the open class (I will no longer be a junior)

i am looking to raise some of the money just to subsidise my costs a little and cover the majority myself.
