Team Gina 2019

For those of you who know her, and especially for those of you who don’t, Cancer picked the wrong person to mess with when it came to Gina’s doorstep. “G” as many of us refer to her as has been fighting really, really hard since August 2018 to beat colon cancer. She’s giving it all she’s got and making progress in the fight. G is undergoing chemotherapy and it has been an up and down road for G, but she preservers with her inner-strength, her faith, and support from her family and friends.

However the big C isn’t the only struggle for G and the family. See, G’s employer doesn’t have what most of us know as disability insurance. And since they don’t and because some short-term benefits have run out they are relying on only one income for the foreseeable future to support the family. All of this at one time is something none of us would wish on anyone, but it presents all of us with the unique opportunity to help those who would not hesitate to help us in our time of need.
