Team Hosegood Wolf Run

Mud is definitely not my thing. No way. And certainly not for supposed fun! It’s so far from my comfort zone you’d have to drag me kicking and screaming.
So why on earth am I doing a Wolf Run through lots and lots of mud in the Warwickshire countryside on 28th April ?!
Because I have a 9 year old daughter Evelyn who loves mud, has boundless energy and loves a challenge. She’s also raising money for a school project. And she’s been desperate to have a go at this Wolf Run for ages. And our 7 year old daughter Iris wants to do everything her sister does.
So I’ve taken a huge deep breath and we’ve signed up to take part as a family all 4 of us!
The Junior Wolf - that’s slightly shorter distance only 6km, obstacles I might have a chance of reaching, but apparently no less mud…
So please make my (our) huge leap into the mud zone worth it. Please support my daughter’s project on the attached GoFundMe link
The girls’ school supports projects in Bwengu in Malawi, a desperately poor region particularly for children. This year the class are aiming to raise enough funds to refurbish a nursery and school to make it a safe, comfortable and a happy place to learn and play. I know those children in Bwengu wouldn’t be complaining about wet mud so I’ll be thinking of them with every sticky muddy squelch.
