I survived Parvo! Help Icey with medical fees

Hello friends!
Meet our princess, Icey. She is a sweet, loving 8-week old husky puppy we welcomed into our home to join our family.
On Tuesday 9/1/20, we brought Icey home to our new apartment, excited to raise her as the latest addition to our home. We instantly fell in love with her playfulness, her charm, and her love for cuddles.
In the days that followed, she began vomiting and having diarrhea consistently throughout the day. Our bright and curious baby girl was suddenly very sad and very sick.
As concerned new puppy parents, we brought her to visit a local vet clinic on the evening of Thursday 9/3/20. After running some tests, the vet told us that we must immediately check her into a 24hr emergency veterinary hospital. What we thought was her adjusting to her new food and her new environment turned out to be a serious case of Parvo.
Icey had to spend the next 5 nights in intensive care with the healthcare team at VCA Emergency Veterinary Hospital. Due to the severity of her infection, and the highly contagious nature of the parvovirus, she had to be kept in isolation under the close watch of her doctors and veterinary technicians.
The days that followed were roller coasters - some days she did well, and others were not as good. She would eat and have energy some days, and others she would continue to vomit and have diarrhea. Despite our concern, we had faith that the staff at VCA were doing everything they can to save our puppy's life.
Thankfully, on Tuesday 9/8/20 we received the call from Icey's doctor that she was ready to come home! Though not quite at 100% yet, Icey was doing so much better, and was ready to come home so her dads can care for her.
We are so lucky and so grateful for all the work the staff at VCA has done to keep us comforted and up-to-date with Icey's condition throughout this scary process. However, with such great care came such great costs. The total bill at the end of her hospital stay came out to $5,132.36.

Today we humbly ask for assistance paying for Icey's medical expenses. It would take a massive weight off our shoulders and help allocate resources to helping her live the healthy and happy life she was born to live!
