"Team Jamie" Medical Fund

I am writing to you concerning my dear friends Jamie & Mary Mitchell.  As most of you know Jamie has had  three major Aortic surgeries, one at the Fred & Lena Heart Center in Grand Rapids and two at the Cleveland Clinic to repair his Aorta.  He is need of another major surgery (the most intensive one yet)  which as you can imagine is a huge stress on their household, emotional, physically, and financially.  The surgery is going to take place within a couple of weeks,  to ensure he makes it to surgery. If the Aorta were to break like it did the first time the Dr.'s at Cleveland Clinic said he would not be able to be saved.

Jamie and Mary are very generous people with all their resources especially  to those most in need.  Their gratitude for life and community is something we all strive for.  This is a very special year for them as both Jake and Josh are marrying two wonderful young ladies Jess and Josie.  I am writing to you to help Jamie & Mary with upcoming major medical expenses that their family will again have to figure out  in the middle of some of the happiest of times.  They do have insurance, but are out of network so they are looking at $80,000.

The emotional toll this family has dealt with over the past  eleven years is substantial.  I feel the best way we as family, friends, colleagues & past youth group members can help is by making a donation and lifting the entire family in prayer.
