Team Justino-Road to Recovery

Justino, better know as Tino is an energetic, kind, loving father, fiancé, brother, nephew, cousin and friend who loves and enjoys helping others without hesitation.

 

Today, him and his family need our help. On November 14th, Tino, Joann and their two kids, 7 and 3 were mistakenly targeted and their car was shot at 6 times on there way to Costco in Lodi. Miraculously, both kids walked away without a scratch and Joann a broken collarbone. Tino, unfortunately was struck twice, once on his ankle and the other on his neck where the bullet ended up lodged into his spinal cord causing him to lose control of their car and a collision occurred. It is an act of God that Tino is still with us today. Doctors diagnosed him as paralyzed and the odds against him.

 

Right now the focus is healing for Tino and the time frame is currently unknown. With countless prayers from family and friends, Joann’s never ending love, faith and support and Tino’s strength and determination, he is currently on the road to recovery.

 

Tino has and continues to show progress on a daily basis. He no longer needs a ventilator and is breathing on his own and is progressively moving both arms.

 

Next step is spinal rehabilitation in Santa Clara where we believe by the grace of God Tino will continue to be healed and we wait on the Lord for that day to come where he walks again.
