My beautiful and strong daughter-in-law Kaitlyn has been battling stage IV colon cancer since November 2013. Throughout these four years since her diagnosis she has endured frequent ER visits, CT and PET scans, and countless chemo/radiation treatments. Then last year they found cancer has returned in her lungs and brain. Still fighting to win this war, she suddenly suffered two seizures and a stroke on August 15, 2017. She was placed on a ventilator and stayed in the ICU for two weeks being unresponsive and suffering severe memory loss. Miraculously with the help of her doctors, Kaitlyn’s warrior spirit and the overwhelming prayers from family and friends she was stable enough to go home.
It has been a long journey for Kaitlyn and my son, Marcus. Determined to constantly be by her side he is taking time off from his employment so she can receive 24/7 care as she continues her rehab and recovery. I am reaching and pleading for all of us to combine our efforts and help this beautiful young couple pay their medical/domestic bills. Any donated amount will be appreciated. They need our help to keep them both healthy and strong, so that Kaitlyn will get the treatment she needs until there is a cure.
Please share this on your fb page, and encourage your friends and family to share too.
Thank you with all our hearts. God bless you! Please check in periodically for updates.
Love, Karen Ignash
