Team Kyle Builds 2018
Donation protected

My son Kyle died six years ago, when we were in a car accident while driving through Newbrunswick returning from vacation on PEI.
He was just 17 years old. Kyle was an incredible person and his loss completely shattered my life. Six years ago I was a shell of the person I am now and my only desire was to trade places with my son.
In an effort to somehow heal and find reasons to keep going, I began to fundraise in Kyle’s honour. It’s amazing the healing power of fundraising. We’ve done some truly amazing things, which include building a private family waiting room at Saint John Regional hospital, where Kyle spent more than a week in a coma.
I’ve been in school for five years studying Social Work, Life Skills Coaching and Grief/ Bereavement Counselling, so I can help support the grieving.
My goal this winter is to provide free Lifeskills workshops for people suffering with grief and trauma. The five hour healing workshops will include a healthy meal and a gentle yoga session at the end.
I decided to forgo a Team Kyle walk and try a gofundme campaign this year. This will allow me to put my energy into the workshops and helping people first hand.
My goal is to raise $2,000.00 so I can bring the workshops to various community service agencies in the GTA.
Thank you so much for your support. Every donation adds up and helps people in crisis directly.
Sincerely Lynda-Ann.
