"You never expect that you are going to need things, you give because it is the right thing to do --it is innate. You never expect that you are going to have to ask for anything in return. Early on we realized that this is much bigger than the two of us -- our friends, our family, strangers that we've never met before." - Erin Begnaud
From Erin Begnaud:
On April 24th, 2017 our son Lane was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, an aggressive bone cancer. The next day we found out it had spread to his lungs. He was 11 at the time of diagnosis.
We have to travel to New Orleans for surgeries, and check-ups.
He's had various transfusions, procedures and we spend an average of 4 days a week in the hospital for chemotherapy treatments.
We have a long journey ahead of us.
