Team Lilah

Lilah is a kindergarten student and the daughter of Liam and Suzanne Bogle of New Bern, NC.

 

On September 2, 2021 Lilah was diagnosed with a cancerous mass on her kidney.

 

Below is Suzanne's Facebook post which explains what Lilah is going through.

 

"Not what we were expecting, but Lilah has a cancerous mass on her kidney. Given it's size and location in relation to important vessels, it can not be removed until it gets smaller. The medical team thinks it is a Wilm's tumor, which is a type of renal (kidney) cancer. The good news is that this type of renal cancer typically responds to treatment. Today she had surgery to obtain biopsies and place a chemo port. The plan is to shrink the tumor with chemo and likely remove the tumor and kidney at a later date. We have a long road ahead of us but my girl is a fighter!!! Thank you for all of the prayers, positive thoughts, kind words, and love"

 

Liam, Larry Kanniard, Justin Crowe and I have been friends for years and though we're all in separate counties we talk daily.

 

Naturally we all wanted to do something to help, we reached out to Liam and Suzanne and with their permission have started this GoFundMe to assist them with the bills which are sure to come.
