Team Lindsay will appreciate your help!

Hi, my name is Vicki, and I think I may get in trouble for setting this up, but here it goes anyway…......... This page is to ask for help for a long-term Broome Family “Team Lindsay”. Dave, a single father to Jack, 10 and Bella, 7, was recently struck down with a severe illness that has left him hospitalised in Perth. After a huge operation, Dave now has a colonoscopy bag. This, however, is not the end of the nightmare; Dave returned to Broome, only to be rushed back to Perth with an infection not once but twice that has seen him in ICU for a period. Dave is currently still in Perth Hospital, very unwell, while the children are being looked after in Broome by family and extended family. However, this will be a long road to recovery for Dave, who has currently not worked for 6 weeks already and will not be well enough to return to work any time soon at the local camping shop. So, if you didn’t know who Dave is, you will now, as everyone knows the, friendly guy in the camping shop with the beard!

Dave still must keep a roof over his and the children’s heads, pay bills and keep this awful situation as normal for his children as possible, while trying to focus on his own recovery, mental health, and financial situation. So, I am reaching out Broome Community and beyond if you can please donate just a small amount to help Team Lindsay through this crisis, I know Dave (even though he’s going to kick my bum for setting this up in the first place) his children, his family, and I will be eternally grateful.
