Team Mari Ohio Water Crisis

Hi everyone. My name is Mari Copeny, you may know me as Little Miss Flint although I'm not little anymore. I am a clean water and environmental activist. My work began in Flint during the Flint water crisis, I was able to fundraise for over a million bottles of water for my community before I partnered with a company to produce my very own water filter to make access to safe drinking water accessible directly from the faucet, my filters have been shipped out all over the country to those dealing with toxic drinking water.

As many have seen there was a train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio which is causing all types of issues for those in the immediate area. While we do not have data to show the effects of this environmental disaster it's safe to assume that it is not safe to drink the water from the tap there until testing can prove it is biologically safe to be filtered and consumed. As we seen in Flint we were told the water was safe while being lied to and poisoned at the same time.

Funds from this fundrasier will help us bring bottled water and other supplies to the community that is going to be solely relying on bottled for the foreseeable future.
