Team Mitch Cancer Battle

Mitchell Muntaner is a loving Husband, Father, and grandfather. He is the hardest working, kindest, and most honest man anyone knows. On November 21st he got diagnosed with Retroperitoneal Sarcoma. He was living a full life until 2 weeks ago, where he had to go to the ER for some pelvic pain. This is when the mass was found. Ever since the diagnosis he has been fighting hard against the pain and living with the shock of having to deal with this new diagnosis. Mitchell now finds himself in a situation where he is not able to work his two jobs (anesthesia tech and package handler) and more so, the burden of covering his medical expenses with only one medical insurance and the possibility of not being covered due to union restrictions. His family is supporting in all ways possible but this might not be enough to cover all of the medical expenses. We appreciate any help that you can provide, little or big. Thank you so much.

Mitchell Muntaner es un esposo, padre y abuelo cariñoso. Es el hombre más trabajador, amable y honesto que se conoce. El 21 de noviembre le diagnosticaron un sarcoma retroperitoneal. Llevaba una vida plena hasta hace dos semanas, cuando tuvo que ir a urgencias por un dolor pélvico. Fue entonces cuando le encontraron la masa. Desde el diagnóstico ha estado luchando duramente contra el dolor y viviendo con el shock de tener que enfrentarse a este nuevo diagnóstico. Mitchell se encuentra ahora en una situación en la que no puede trabajar en sus dos empleos (técnico de anestesia y manipulador de paquetes) y más aún, la carga de cubrir sus gastos médicos con un solo seguro médico y la posibilidad de no estar cubierto debido a restricciones sindicales. Su familia le está apoyando en todo lo posible, pero esto podría no ser suficiente para cubrir todos los gastos médicos. Apreciamos cualquier ayuda que nos puedan brindar, pequeña o grande.
