Team Mitch-fighting cancer together. Let's do this

Donation protected
Life was happening for this young little family and Mitch and Lucy were planning their wedding. Lenny was thriving and bringing joy. Covid 19 interrupted the wedding plans (many dates and bookings) in 2020 and although disappointing, the exciting news of a second little human coming (due April 2021)  was a welcome surprise. As such, they thought they would quietly tie the knot in January 2021 without the  crowds and trimmings to commit their love for each other and family unit. As twists and turns have it,  an unwelcomed surprise came in December after a doctors visit for swift follow up of  pain and the discovery of a small lump.  Testicular cancer was the news and so off came that part of the anatomy before xmas. More tests followed. Some lymph node involvement they said and short chemo treatment recommended.  Relief that the long waited nuptials could progress. A further scan was booked to confirm findings. That's when things got a bit harder. Lesions found in  the lungs. Aggressive treatment regime starting immediately requiring hospitalization. Life for the family has changed in a heartbeat. Team Mitch is rallying - not for a wedding celebration as we thought - but to walk alongside Mitch, Lucy and Lenny as they embark on this confronting challenge. They are a brave bunch and daily life will  need to continue for Lenny and the baby will still be arriving in April (possibly without Mitch in the delivery suite  due to his treatment). So we all pull together and do whatever it takes for the best possible outcome. Never did we think that this is how 2021 would start and never did we think a fundraising page would be part of the deal. But the facts are just that! Mitch (age 26 circa 1994) has cancer and we are backing him (Lucy, Lenny and babybump) all the way through the curative treatments. Although initially reluctant,  Mitch and Lucy have agreed to the creation of this page on their behalf by Team Mitch supporters and acknowledge that life at the moment requires support in all domains.  Thanks and gratitude Lets do this.
