Nick has stage 4 colorectal cancer that has grown and metastasized after surgery and many rounds of chemo.  He was first diagnosed almost 5 years ago and has no other conventional options available. Initially Nick is raising funds specifically to go to Chipsa Hospital in Mexico. Nick found out about Chipsa from his wife Joan because her sister in law went there with a 1 to 6 month prognosis (stage 4 nasopharyngeal cancer) in 2016 and in 2019 is still No Evidence of Disease.  

Nick has 4 children and 2 grandchildren.  Two of his sons are grown and his 2 youngest children, a son and a daughter, are 13 years old.  He would really love to be here to see his children and grandchildren grow up.

Nick has served his community as a firefighter and also his country where he served in the Army in Iraq during Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
