6 teen girls swimming the channel for Care4Calais
Hi! We are Tessa, Phoebe, Cleo, Fen, Freya and Katie. We decided to swim the channel together at the beginning of July, in aid of Care4Calais.
Every £10 we receive for Care4Calais will feed a family of 4 for 10 days, so every little bit makes a huge difference!
Care4Calais is a volunteer-run charity delivering essential aid and support to refugees living in the worst conditions across Northern France, Belgium and Italy. They advocate for a welcoming and inclusive attitude towards refugees. Operating year-round from Calais, their focus is to provide warm clothing, bedding, food and medical assistance to people in desperate need.

We will split the 34km into 6 by rotating every hour until we reach France! We have been training since September, both in the pool and in the sea at Dover Harbour. Getting used to the cold water was hard (less than 16 degrees C! brrr), but after some hot chocolate, it all feels worth it!
Thank you so much for your support and kindness.
